Answer:

Width of wrap B = 1 3/4 feet

Explanations:

Wrap A is said to be a square:

The side length of the square = 3 1/2 feet = 7/2 feet

Area of a square = Length²

Area of wrap A = (7/2)² = 49/4 ft²

Length of wrap B = 7 feet

Wrap B is rectangular in shape

Area of a rectangle = Length x Width

Area of wrap B = Length x Width

Area of wrap B = 7 x Width

Area of the wrap A = Area of wrap B

49/4 = 7 x width

49 = 4 x 7 x width

49 = 28 width

49/28 = width

width = 1 3/4 feet
