We have to find the value of the expression:

((2)/(3)-1)+(2)/(3)

We will do the operations inside the parenthesis, and thus we get:

\begin{gathered} ((2-3)/(3))+(2)/(3) \\ =-(1)/(3)+(2)/(3) \\ =(-1+2)/(3) \\ =(1)/(3) \end{gathered}

This means that the value of the expression is 1/3.
