Start by planting your feet towards the sun, extending one arm fully in front of you, and rotating your wrist so your palm is facing you horizontally. Close your fingers together and align your pinkie with the horizon. Now, count how many finger widths it takes to reach the sun.

So, yes it is quite easy.

In fact even if you have a watch or calendar you can lose track of time. Our mind focuses on the task we are doing so it basically forgets to track time

It is somewhat easy, especially the time. Without the time you could easily see if it’s dark outside that it is probably about 9 pm-4 am. If it’s light outside you could tell that it’s about 7-5. But without a calander it might get difficult understanding what day it is and what month it is, if you don’t know how many days are in a month.
