In this problem we know that

m>EDG=<1+<2=70

so

<1+<2=70 -------> equation A

mand

<2=<3

so

2<2=60 -----> equation B

Find the value of angle 2

<2=60/2

<2=30 degrees

Find the value of angle 1

substitute the value of <2 in equation A

<1+30=70

<1=70-30

<1=40 degrees

Remember that

<2=<3

so

<3=30 degrees

Find the measure of angle 4

we have that

<1=<4

so

<4=40 degrees

Find the measure of angle EDJ

we have that

mmsubstitute
