Given

radius of the wheel, r = 30 cm = 0.3 m

angular speed of the wheel, ω = 2.1 rev for 0.0810 s

Procedure

The linear speed of the wheel is calculated as follows;

\begin{gathered} v=\omega r \\ v=(\frac{2\text{ rev}}{0.0810\text{ s}}\cdot\frac{2\pi\text{ rad}}{1\text{ rev}})*0.3\text{ m} \\ v=46.54\text{ m/s} \end{gathered}

The linear speed of a point on the wheel's rim is 46.54 m/s
