please real answers!!! In this section of Vincent van Gogh: Portrait of an Artist, van Gogh demonstrates a great deal of persistence where others might have quit. Have you ever persevered in order to achieve a goal? Have you witnessed someone do this? Have you ever had a time when you have given up on something, but in looking back on it, you wish you would have kept trying? Discuss these ideas in your journal.

Once, I gave up in achieving something in a game. Then, I looked back a few weeks later and wished I did it.

Answer:

When I was little I have a very severe fear of heights but there were still a couple of times when my family went rock climbing or to a ropes course. Every time I would end early or only stay on the very easy and boring parts of the course. Now looking back I wish I would have come up with the courage to challenge myself because I would have had so much more fun.
