In order to calculate the coordinates of a point after a reflection across the y-axis, we need to change the signal of the x-coordinate.

So, if the original coordinates are (-4, -5), the coordinates after the reflection across the y-axis are (4, -5).

In the same way, a reflection over the x-axis causes a change in the signal of the y-coordinate.

Therefore the point (-4, -5) would become (-4, 5).
