r is the radius.

For the given circle:


\begin{gathered} C=2\cdot3.14\cdot5yd \\ C=31.4yd \\ \\ \\ A=3.14\cdot(5yd)^2 \\ A=3.14\cdot25yd^2 \\ A=78.5yd^2 \end{gathered}
