Statement Problem: Evaluate;

(9.3*10^8)/(3.0*10^(-2))

Solution:

(9.3*10^8)/(3.0*10^(-2))=(9.3)/(3.0)*(10^8)/(10^(-2))

We would apply the division law of indices;

(a^b)/(a^c)=a^(b-c)

Then,

\begin{gathered} (9.3)/(3.0)*(10^8)/(10^(-2))=3.1*10^(8-(-2)) \\ \end{gathered}

Hence,

(9.3*10^8)/(3.0*10^(-2))=3.1*10^(10)
