Question:

After a party, Ronen noticed that 4/9 of a pound of treats remained. He decided to take six tenths, or 0.6 of that amount to school and keep the rest of himself. What fraction of the remaining treats will Ronen bring to school?

Answer:

Originaly, 4/9 of a pound of treats remained. If Ronen decided to take 6/10 of that quantity to school, we'll just have to multiply 4/9 and 6/10 to find how much treats he really brought.

Therefore,

(4)/(9)*(6)/(10)=(24)/(90)=(4)/(15)

Ronen brought 4/15 of a pound of treats to school
