First, we will calculate the mean with the outlier

$\operatorname{mean}=(22+32+40+41+57+62+68+752)/(8)=134.25$

then the mean without the outlier

$\operatorname{mean}=(22+32+40+41+57+62+68)/(7)=46$

As we can see the mean will decrease if the outlier was removed from the data set
