The equation of the known line is

y = 3/4x

The slope intercept equation of a line is expressed as

y = mx + c

where

m represents slope

c respresents y intercept

By comparing with the given equation, slope, m = 3/4

If two lines are parallel, it means thta they have the same slope. Therefore, the slope of the para;llel line is 3/4

Given that the line parallel to this line passes through (3, 3), we would determine the y intercept, c of this line by substituting x = 3, y = 3 and m = 3/4 into the slope intercept equation. it becomes

3 = 3 * 3/4 + c

3 = 9/4 + c

c = 3 - 9/4 = - 3/4

Therefore, the equation of the line is

y = 3x/4 - 3/4
