In order to find the total area, we'll find the area of the base, of the two triangles and the two rectangles on the top.

Base:

A1 = 12.5*8

A1= 100 cm²

Triangles:

A2 = (8*3)/2 *2

A2 = 24 cm²

Rectangles on the top:

A3 = 12.5*5 *2

A3 = 125 cm²

Total area = A1+A2+A3

TA = 100+24+25

TA = 149 cm²

Answer: 149 cm²
