Given the right triangle ABC

C = 90°

c = hyppotenusse

A=80°

a=18

B= 180-80-90 = 10°

Using the law of sines

(a)/(Sin(A))=(b)/(Sin(B))=(c)/(Sin(C))
(18)/(Sin(80))=(b)/(Sin(10))=(c)/(Sin(90))

Solving for b

(18)/(sin(80))=(b)/(sin(10))
sin\left(10\right)*(18)/(sin(80))=b
b=3.174

Solving for c

(18)/(s\imaginaryI n(80))=(c)/(s\imaginaryI n(90))
s\mathrm{i}n(90)*(18)/(s\imaginaryI n(80))=c
c=18.278
