Here, we are interested in getting the error in the expression given;

That is;

18 + 30 = 6(3 + 10)

What is directly shown here as it can be seen is that 6 is a factor of both 18 and 30

So we are trying to factor out 6

That would be;

18 + 30 = 6(3 + 5)

The error here is that although 6 multiplied by 3 will give 18, 6 multiplied by 10 will give 60 and not 5 that we have in the question

This is the source of error in the question as it can be seen

Furthermore;

18 + 30 = 48

but 6(3 + 10) will not giv
