Given the function

f(x)=6+2x

To find the value of f(x), substitute the value of x into the function

For x = 3

\begin{gathered} f(x)=6+2x \\ f(3)=6+2(3)=6+6=12 \\ f(3)=12 \end{gathered}

Hence, the value is 12
