We solve as follows:

x=\frac{-(-24)\pm\sqrt[]{(-24)^2-4(4)(0)}}{2(4)}

Then:

\begin{gathered} x=0 \\ x=6 \end{gathered}

As we can see the function:

4x^2-24x

Is of the form:

ax^2+bx+c

Where a = 4, b = -24 & c = 0

Since it follows that form, we can solve it using the quadratic function:

x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt[]{b^2-4ac}}{2a}

When we solve it gives us that x = 0 and x = 6 when we equal to 0.
