The fastest elevator in the burj khalifa can travel 330 feet in just 10 seconds. How far does the elevator travel in 11 seconds? Explain your reasoning with a table.

The linear equation that represent this problem is

y=(330/10)x

y=33x

where k is the constant of proportionality or slope (unit rate)

where

y -----> the distance in feet

x -----> the time in seconds

Table

For x=0

y=33*(0)=0

For x=1 sec

y=33*1)=33 ft

For x=10 sec

y=33*(10)=330 ft

For x=11 sec

y=33*(11)=363 ft
