If the triangle is dilated by factor of 2.5, then base and height of triangle is dilated by factor 2.5.

Determine the height and base of dilated triangle.

\begin{gathered} h=10\cdot2.5 \\ =25 \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} b=6\cdot2.5 \\ =15 \end{gathered}

Determine the area of dilated triangle.

\begin{gathered} A=(1)/(2)\cdot bh \\ =(1)/(2)\cdot15\cdot25 \\ =187.5 \end{gathered}

So area of dilated figure (triangle) is 187.5 square cm.
