Write an equation of the function g(x) that is the graph of f(x)= |x|, but shifted right 7 units and shifted down 6 units.

The parent function is


f(x)=|x|

A shift right 7 units means we have to subtract 7 from x.

A shift of 6 units down means we have to subtract 6 from the function.

Hence, g(x) is


g(x)=|x-7|-6
