For this problem we use the formula for the area of a traingle ( since the base is one):


\begin{gathered} B=(1)/(2)base\cdot height \\ \text{susbtituting } \\ B=(1)/(2)4m\cdot3.5m=2m\cdot3.5m=7m^2 \end{gathered}

Answer: 7 m^2
