We know that he wants

• 1/6 of a pound of pebbles.

,

• There's a total of 2 1/3 pounds of pebbles in total.

To find the answer, we have to divide.

(2(1)/(3))/((1)/(6))=((7)/(3))/((1)/(6))=(42)/(3)=14

Hence, Timothy can fill 14 bowls in total.
