For this problem we will find the area to the right of z and the area to left of z seperately

To the right, area under the normal standard curve =

Pr(z\ge-1.1)
Pr(-1.1\leq z\leq0)\text{ + Pr(z}\ge0)
Pr(0\leq z\leq1.1)\text{ + Pr(z}\ge0)

=0.3643+ 0.5 = 0.8643

To the left

\begin{gathered} Pr(z\leq-1.5) \\ =\text{ Pr(z}\leq0)-\text{ Pr(-1.5}\leq z\leq0) \\ =\text{ Pr(z}\leq0)-Pr(0\leq Z\leq1.5) \\ =\text{ 0.5 - 0.4332} \\ =\text{ 0.0668} \end{gathered}

End the area under the standard normal curve to the left of z = -1.5 and to the right-example-1
End the area under the standard normal curve to the left of z = -1.5 and to the right-example-2
