Can u pls help me solve! I am reviewing for a final.Part A: Did either student verify the identity properly? Explain why or why not Part B: Name two identities that were used in Student A's verification and the steps they appear in.

PART A

The identity property given in the question to verify is:

`(\cot x)(\cos x)=\csc x-\sin x`

On reviewing both steps, we can see that both students actually verified their work using actual identities. The steps for both are actually identical, both just worked in reverse order.

PART B

For Student A, the first identity he used was in Step 1:

`\cot x=(\cos x)/(\sin x)`

In Step 3, he applied another identity:

`\cos^2x=1-\sin^2x`
