The point (0,0) represents the origin and point (-2,0) lies on the x axis. So the line segement with endpoints (0,0) and (-2,0) is x axis between points (0,0) and (-2,0).

If line sement is rotated by angle of 90 degree left about origin then new endpoints are (0,0) and (0,-2).

Thus, option B is correct answer.
