Given,

The initial velocity of the Bugatti Veyron, u=0 m/s

The final velocity of the car, v= 124 m/s

The time period in which the car accelerated from rest to the given speed, t=3.7 s

The acceleration of an object is the rate of change of velocity over an interval of time.

Thus the acceleration is given by,

a=(v-u)/(t)

On substituting the known values,

\begin{gathered} a=(124-0)/(3.7) \\ =33.5m/s^2 \end{gathered}

Thus the acceleration of the car is 33.5 m/s²
