We have to find the slope of a linear function that passes through the points (-2,-5) and (-1,-6).

For doing so, we will use the formula:

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

where (x₁,y₁) and (x₂,y₂) are two points of the line. Replacing we obtain that:

m=(-6-(-5))/(-1-(-2))=(-6+5)/(-1+2)=(-1)/(1)=-1

This means that the slope of the linear function is -1.
