we have the equation

p(x)=5-4x

this is a linear equation

To graph a line we need two points

so

Part A

we have that

the domain is the interval [-2,2]

Find out the points for x=-2 and for x=2

For x=-2

substitute in the equation

p=5-4(-2)

p=5+8=13

the first point is (-2,13)

For x=2

p=5-4(2)

p=-3

the second point is (2,-3)

To graph the line, plot the points and join them

using a graphing tool
