Logical connectors

"If you water the plants, they bloom."

This statement can be understood under this representation

p ⇒ q, where p means "you water the plants", ⇒ means "then" and q means "they bloom"

We know that the inverse is

¬p ⇒ ¬q, where ¬p means "you do not water the plants", ⇒ means "then" and q means "they do not bloom"

Answer: If you do not water the plants, they do not bloom
