A) How many feet of shelves are being added?

Since the library will increase the number of shelves by 18%, the library will add

300*\text{ 18\%=}300*0.18=54

that is, 54 feet

B) How many feet of shelves will the library have after the new shelves are installed?

We need to add the 300 feet and the 54 feet from the last result. Then, after the instalation, the library will have 354 feet

C) Will the library have enough shelves for all the new book?

We know that in 1 foot there are 15 books, so in 354 feet there will be

354*15=5310\text{ books}

since the library plans to add 1,000 books then the library have enough space for the new books
