We can find the slope of a line by means of the following formula:

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

Where (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) are two points where the line passes through. In this case, we can take the points (2002,77) and (2006,85). by replacing the x and y-coordinates of these points into the above formula, we get:

m=(85-77)/(2006-2002)=(8)/(4)=2

Then, the slope of the line equals 2. This means that every year, there are 2 million more households with personal computers.
