Jamie Spiffup advised her clients they needed to paint their living room before showing the property. The walls of these rooms were all 10' high. The wall lengths were 16', 20', 16, and 20'. If a gallon of paint covers 200 SF, how many whole gallons would the sellers have to buy?

Given the dimensions of the walls are :

Height = 10'

The lengths = 16', 20', 16, and 20'

the gallon of paint covers 200 Sf

So, we need to find the total areas of the walls

Total area =

(16+20+16+20)\cdot10=72\cdot10=720

The total area = 720 Sf

So, the number of gallons =

720/200=3.6

So, the number of gallons would the sellers to buy = 4 gallons
