Distance between two points is calculated by a straight line

Its the square root of

Difference betwen Ys + Difference between Xs

So then

(-4 - (-4)) = 0 square result is 0

(-1-9)= -10. Square 100

Adding both 0+100 and calculating square root

√100= 10

So then 10 is the distance between the points.
