Solution

How do you rotate 270 degrees clockwise and determine the marked figure

The coordinate of the figure ABCD are

A^{}(-5,6)B^{}(-^{}2.6)C^{}\text{(-2,4) and D(-3,4)}

The rule for a rotation by 270° about the origin is (x,y)→(y,−x)

and the new coordinates will be

The coordinate of the new figure A¹B¹C¹D¹ are

A^{}(6,5)B^{}(6,2)C^{}\text{(4,2) and D(4,3)}

Therefore the marked coordinate of the original figure is (-5 , 6) also point in the final figure will be (6 , 5)
