2/5 x - 2/3 y = 30 when y = 15 then

2/5 x - 2/3 * 15 = 30

2/5 x - 10 = 30

2/5 x = 40

2x = 40 *5

2x = 200

Divide both sides by 2

x = 200/2

= 100
