I have tried this quite a few times and seems like I can’t get the correct answer and how to do it!

Where f(x)=0. Thus;

`\begin{gathered} 0=3+(2)/(x+7) \\ \\ \text{ Multiply through by }(x+7) \\ \\ 0=3(x+7)+2 \\ \\ 3x+21=-2 \\ \\ 3x=-23 \\ \\ x=-(23)/(3) \end{gathered}`

ANSWER:

`x=-(23)/(3)`
