Since arcGJ represents half circle, then


arcGJ=180

We can also note that


arcGJ=arcGH+arcHJ

since arcGH measures 55 degrees, by substituting this value and our first result into this equation we get


180=55+arcHJ

which gives


\begin{gathered} arcHJ=180-55 \\ arcHJ=125 \end{gathered}

Therefore, arc HJ measures 125 degrees
