Dilation about the origin

The blue figure has the following vertices:

(1,2) (3,2) (3,4) (1,4)

The black figure has the following corresponding (in the same order) vertices:

(3,6) (9,6) (9,12) (3,12)

Note that all the coordinates of the dilated shape are those of the original shape multiplied by 3.

Thus, the scale factor is SF=3
