Given:

\begin{gathered} 5\text{ Red marbles} \\ \\ 6\text{ Blue marbles } \\ \\ 3\text{ green marbles} \\ \\ 2\text{ yellow marbles} \\ \\ 4\text{ purple marbles} \end{gathered}

Find-: Number of times a blue marble will be drawn.

Sol:

For each time chance of blue marble is:

=\frac{\text{ Number of blue marbles}}{\text{ Total number of marbles}}

Total marbles is:

\begin{gathered} =5+6+3+2+4 \\ \\ =20 \end{gathered}

Chance for blue is:

\begin{gathered} =(6)/(20) \\ \\ =0.3 \end{gathered}

For 60 times draws.

\begin{gathered} =0.3*60 \\ \\ =18 \end{gathered}

So 18 times blue marbles will be drawn.
