We can determine if the triangles are similar by obtaining ratios of corresponding sides. Let's take the ratio of PR to KL

(54)/(72)=(3)/(4)

Let's see if the other sides share the same ratio; i.e PR to KL and QR to JK

(45)/(60)=(3)/(4)

Finally, let's check QR to JK

(39)/(48)=(13)/(16)

Clearly, the ratio of the pair QR to JK is not the same as PR to KL and PR to KL.

Therefore, the triangles are not similar as the corresponding sides are not proportional.
