Answer: Length is 5 and width is 8

Explanation: a rectangle doesn’t have even sides so we have to find a set of 2 different numbers that could be multiplied by 2 (which will represent both of its sides) and then added together to get 26.

5 x 2 = 10 and 8 x 2 = 16
10 + 16 = 26
And 5 (being our length) times 8 (being our width) is 40
