The function f(x) is as follows:


f(x)=-(1)/(2)x^2

The vertex of the function (f) is the point (0, 0) while the vertex of the function (h) is the point (-4, -2)

So, the function (f) is translated 4 units left then 2 units down

The expression for the function h(x) will be as follows:


h(x)=-(1)/(2)(x+4)^2-2
