Given Data:

The dimension of the rectangle is 9 times the original dimension i.e.

(l_f)/(l_i)=(b_f)/(b_i)=9

The ratio of the area of the rectangle can be determined as,

\begin{gathered} (A_f)/(A_i)=((l_f)/(l_i))^2 \\ =9^2 \\ =81. \end{gathered}

Thus, area of the enlarged picture is 81 times the area of the original picture.

Thus, option (E) is the correct solution.
