In pharmacology, biological activity describes the beneficial or adverse effects of a drug. When drug complex needs to bind to a receptor to be able to perform its function, the binding depends on types of chemical bounds in the drug molecules and receptor molecules, there are 4 types of drugs receptors and they are most commonly found in the surface of the target cell for the drug action.
