Parallelograms are four sided figures that have two pairs of opposite, parallel sides. Quadrilateral ABCD shown below is parallelogram. One of it's two diagonals, AC is drawn and it's midpoint M is located. Use tracing paper in this problem to help you answer the following questions.

a. Since the distance between A and M is equal to the distance between C and M , and the distance between B and M is equal to D and M , When you rotate CD 180° around M, you would lie CD on top of AB.

b. Since the distance between A and M is equal to the distance between C and M , and the distance between B and M is equal to D and M. When you rotate AD 180° around M, the line would lie AD on top of BC.

c. Following the changes we find that the images of lines AD and CD would intercept at point B (of the original figure). From this we can conclude that Opposite sides have the same measure, and opossite angles of a parallelogram have the same value.
