Recall: The Tangent-Chord Theorem states that the angle formed between a chord and a tangent line to a circle is equal to the inscribed angle on the other side of the chord. That is why we have x where it is.

Note that the angle subtended by a chord to the center of a circle is twice the angle at the circumference.

The angle subtended by the chord to the center is gotten by:


\Rightarrow360-165=195

Therefore, we have that:


\begin{gathered} x=(195)/(2) \\ x=97.5\degree \end{gathered}
