From the question we are given the equation

7-i-4(I-6)=5(4-i)-2(1-i)

Assuming the I represents i then we have

7-i-4(i-6)=5(4-i)-2(1-i)

now we are to solve for i by expanding the bracket

This gives

7-i-4i+24=20-5i-2+2i

Next we are to collect like terms

\begin{gathered} 7+24-i-4i=20-2-5i+2i \\ 31-5i=18-3i \\ -5i+3i=18-31 \\ -2i=-13 \end{gathered}

Finally we have

\begin{gathered} i=(-13)/(-2) \\ i=(13)/(2) \end{gathered}

Therefore, the value for i is

i=(13)/(2)
