We are given the measure of the three angles of a triangle as:

51 degrees, 85 degrees , 4 times p degrees

We are asked to find the value of "p".

So we use the property that the addition of all angles in a triengle givew 180 degrees:

51 + 85 + 4 p = 180

we conbine 51 and 85

136 + 4 p = 180

then we subtract 136 from both sides:

4 p = 180 - 136

4 p = 44

we divide both sides by 4:

p = 44 / 4

p = 11

Therefore, p equals 11 degrees.
