break it down!

8 + 4 = 12

12 + 10 = 22

22 - 4 = 18

(a calculator also helps if you're unsure)

Answer:

Explanation:

Just go in the order as is. You add the 3 numbers together, 8+4=12+10=22, then subtract off 4, 22-4=18.
