We will know the end behavior as follows:

\lim _{x\rightarrow{\infty}}=x^4-3x^2+2=\lim _(x\rightarrow\infty)x^4+\lim _(x\rightarrow\infty)-3x^2+\lim _(x\rightarrow\infty)2
=\lim _(x\rightarrow\infty)x^4-3\lim _(x\rightarrow\infty)x^2+\lim _(x\rightarrow\infty)2=\infty-3(\infty)+2=\infty
\Rightarrow\lim _(x\rightarrow\infty)x^4-3x^2+2=\infty
